File Submission Requirements

Please follow the guidelines below for best practices in file preparation and start creating your most ImPRESSive project.

  • – Recommended file format for all job submissions is PDF
  • – Files should be created to actual trim size
  • – PDF documents must be submitted in single page setup, as opposed to spreads
  • – All images should be at 300 DPI
  • – All files should have 1/8” bleed around all sides and include crop marks
  • – Embed all fonts within the PDF
  • – CMYK, Grayscale and Spot Colors are accepted
  • – Please use our Export Profile guideline to convert InDesign Files to PDF
  • All InDesign files should include fonts, links and a PDF with exported package

What is HIPAA and why does HIPAA compliant printing matter?

HIPAA compliance is a set of standards for managing the security of confidential data. HIPAA is an acronym that stands for “Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act” which was instituted in 1996. Handling data in a HIPAA-compliant manner involves modifying the environment and practices of O’Neil Printing to the standards set forth by the HIPAA governing body. Some of the modifications that have taken place at O’Neil include: adding additional security to our buildings, employee training, and HIPAA workflow integration. HIPAA compliant printing is a necessity for any organization that deals with personal information related to the identity and health of an individual. By and large, the medical industry is the foremost driver of HIPAA compliant data. Medical companies send out large quantities of documents that consist of data that is personally matched to records within their database. These documents consist of direct mail, statements, and bills that use personalized data.
