Personalized Holiday Cards Strategy

The holidays are coming soon, and that means automated messages and emails will be popping up wishing everyone good fortune and health throughout the season. While these messages are nice, they aren’t very memorable and are tossed to the side most of the time. That’s why many O’Neil representatives choose to handwrite personalized holiday cards to their clients to thank them for being the wonderful people that they are. In this day and age more than ever, a quick mass email or text is enough to get the message across to everyone. But taking a moment to write even the simplest of notes can remind your clients that you really care.

That’s why we encourage you to take a few minutes this holiday season to show your clients how much they mean to you with personalized holiday cards. Even if your client list is too large for personal letters to be fathomable, simple unique greetings and hand-written addresses on envelopes can be very effective. 

Some considerations when writing your holiday cards: personalize, spell check, and mail them on time. The personal touch is going to be what makes your clients know that you are reaching out to them individually, which makes your card and business stand out from the rest. Next, read over your card to check the spelling and punctuation. Well-written letters will reflect positively on you and your business. Lastly, make sure it’s mailed at an appropriate time. A holiday card received after the New Year could reduce its effectiveness on the client.

The cold holiday season is a perfect time to make your clients feel warm and special with a personal holiday card. Because after they discard the typical messages that they see every year, your clients will see your card and know that you appreciate their business and show a personal interest in their well being.
